It’s been a great experienced to get a chance to attend the 6th Cebu Auto Show being held at Cebu International Convention Center (CICC). It’s been so far a well organized event where all visitors are welcome and will got a chance to win some prizes for the raffle draw they been doing, as what I’ve heard they are going to have a draw 4 to 5 times a day with an awesome prizes to be won for all registered visitors.
Being an auto blogger, right after the registration I go straight to the Auto Show room where you will be amaze upon entry to see cars lined up from various brands. I noticed four (4) new brands namely; JAC, JMC, Foton and Great Wall Motors. I say its new because I just saw the above mentioned brands in Cebu market place, but somehow their units are appealing and most likely will have the capability to compete with the older and famous car brands such us Volvo, BMW, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Chery, Ford and Chevrolet are also present in the event together with its appealing and eye catching new models lined up.
On the other side of the room you will see project cars and PIMP rides from old to the newest models that got been modified. You will see various type of car set-up, from MAG wheels, engine, body kits, spoiler, customized paint, low profile and mirror shine body.As I continue roaming around, a white Toyota Innova catches my attention because of its stunning audio set-up. The entire back of the Innova been transformed to in-house audio boxes blended with great design plus an eye catching lighting effects. Of course its overall sound effects are superb! It feels like you are surrounded with those big boxes you will hear booming your ears out loud inside the disco clubs.
Lastly, various car shops and car dealers specifically Auto Xchange also are present in the event. Displaying different car parts, batteries, lube lubricants and also second hand & imported cars. There you can see also an old Mustang in display with vibrant yellow shiny paint with a touch of the Camaro “bumblebee” look-a-like paint style. Some second hand and imported Mercedes Benz, Mini-Cooper, Nissan and BMW are also being included as the highlights.
The Cebu Auto Show will last until Sunday May 27, 2012. So if you guys still got some time, you better go to Cebu International Convention Center to witness and experience what truly Cebu Auto Show is all about.
