Ford Evos Concept a true Technology Demonstrator?
New concept that ford launches as they continue to demonstrate over again from decade where they always welcome and discover new technologies. Now Ford presents Evos not merely for its design concept but a total package for continues research Ford performed. They consider Evos as a plug-in in hybrid power train but still remains a concept as Ford utters that Evos won’t enter production but plays major role as technology demonstrator.
Ford Evos design concept glances many aspects of beauty. Its grill is already being set to be present on the new model of Taurus. While Fiesta and Focus will used the Evos kinetic design language. The kinetic design on Evos showcase the tamed with the smoother sides that lack the almost frenetic feeling of motion from the Ford Fiesta.
Evos power train is a plug-on hyrid system that will be going to be the basis for their use for the next year models. The Evos new hybrid system considered as an evolution of what is currently being used in their Ford Fusion that you can drive the car under pure electricity alone. It also uses lithium ion battery to accommodate the battery charging from the grid and in this way it can stand better stand deep discharging compared to nickel metal hydride battery.
Its doors according to Ford is one of the remarkable element found in Evos and they are confident enough to say that it will remain forever in concept territory since both front and rear doors are hinging upwards. To add up, the elimination of the traditional B pillar gives passengers easy access to both front and rear of the car cabin.
Ford Evos wont missed the GPS to understand road conditions and at the same time uses an adaptive suspension to automatically sets itself.
Also the nice thing here that Ford showcase on their Evos concept is the upholstered driver set in read to give difference from the passenger seats. And the most advanced features, but also very possible, are the cabin electronics, which build on current capabilities to tie the car in with the life of the driver. For example, the car could read the owner’s cloud-based calendar, and pre-enter the addresses for appointments as they approach. It would also learn the owner’s routine, and be able to optimize its power train for the drive to work, which would occur at approximately the same time very weekday.
