It’s said that Americans have been slowly adopting electric cars due to their high cost and concerns over their range. And it’s maybe because many automakers have also improved the fuel efficiency of their traditional gas-powered engines more quickly than expected.
But been difficult to forecast whats in the mind of the consumer on what they prefer in the future that’s why Ford modified Focus platform and arrived to build an electric and gas powered versions on the same assembly line. Making this Focus Electric in reality allows Ford to maintain reasonable margins on this EV are which turned to be costly because of the price of its battery.
According to Ford the battery they used in all electric vehicle such as the Focus EV will cost between $12,000 and $15,000 which makes an overall Focus EV price representation of about $39,000
