During the just-ended 2013 North American International Auto Show that happens in Detroit. KIA proudly showcase a latest additions to their collections, by unveiling the 2014 Cadenza. This will be the Kia’s front-liner in the full-sized sedan market.
Its design offers a Tiger Nose look alike in the front-fascia with subtle of chrome accents around the exterior give it a nice upscale look with nothing looking out of place. Dual exhaust system and LED taillights are present at the back of the sedan. It rides on a set of 18″ wheels, or you can jump up to a set of 19″ wheels.
“Since the introduction of the range-topping Optima SXL last year, we have seen an increasing number of customers in our retail outlets looking for a sedan with even more upscale amenities and technology,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing & communications, KMA. “The Cadenza is the new flagship for Kia in the U.S. market, and when it goes on sale later this year, it will introduce a number of advanced systems that promise to set a new standard in the premium segment.”
This newest add-ons to the KIA family comes together with a nicely equipped leather trims, dual-zone automatic climate control, seven-inch TFT color touchscreen display and a 12-speaker Infinity audio system. Premium options include things like Nappa leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, Kia’s UVO infotainment system, HID headlamps with active lighting, heated seats and a heated steering wheel.
The 2014 Kia Cadenza is upkeep with technology and in fact they offer the following package with a “water repellant hydrophobic” windshield, Blind Spot Detection System (BSD) , electric parking brake, Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS).
When it comes to performance it is powered by a 3.3-liter GDI V6 engine under the hood. It puts out 293 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic manual mode and a sport-tuned suspension with MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear configuration.
According to Kia, the 2014 Cadenza will be out in United States market on the second quarter of 2013 and the pricing will be announced later prior to their launched.
