On September 7, 8 and 9, 2012, Cebuano car enthusiasts and mall crowds gathered at Ayala Center Cebu activity center to witness the astonishing display of exotic, elegant and extraordinary cars from different car clubs and car owners who proudly presented their creativity to pimp their rides. Thanks to Bumper to Bumper and REPSOL for making Metro Rides 2 happen and to let Cebuano experience such a great car show event.

Whooping sound rocked the activity area because of the awesome car audio set-up, coming from the Toyota Innova. The car model attracted passers-by, staring at awe on the lighted wheels as they stopped by and joined the growing crowd. Great audio surround sound plus several aesthetics being brought together to make the car display look stunningly beautiful.

A very well-pimped REPSOL van and sports car were also in the highlights. Its vibrant orange color caught the crowd’s eyes. REPSOL van had been equipped with a cool audio set-up and the panel had been curated nicely to in-house the speakers and showcased a wide LCD screen at the back.

I hadn’t had a chance to get a sneak view on the sports car since the area outside the perimeter of the display was crowded with enthusiasts very busy taking pictures together with the car show babes. But one thing is certain– the car show displayed a well-crafted sports car very much coveted to anyone who’d appreciate great-looking cars.

Enticing Mercedes Benz sports car from DGL was also put on display. It did grab much my attention to stand in front of it for several minutes to view the overall details and aspect of the car. No wonder it’s really good looking from its front fascia, its mag wheels, shiny paint, the spoiler to its well designed interior. Overall, it’s amazing!

On the far side of the area featured a BMW convertible and Mercedes Benz hot cars and a white executive Jaguar XJ. It’s been a great experience to get a chance to see in person this expensive car models.

I admit that was my very first time to get a closer look at the Jaguar. At the back of the hot cars I could see in display the so-called pickups or the off-roaders.

Norkis group showcase their black colored Isuzu D-Max, Alba Auto Sales bring in their Toyota Hi-lux. Also present is the 1947 Chevrolet pickup that I only saw on some American movies and not expecting that existed also here in Cebu.

On the other side, Ironman made its way to display their transformed Hi-lux with the tent at the roof. I can say that Ironman made a lot of work to make the transformation to happen. It’s been so far transformed to the max by increasing the height and to look it more for outdoor and adventure. And for sure, one can manage to go to any terrain wherever one desires to venture.

Cebu RC drifters also made their presence known during the show. They amazed the crowd when they conquered the stage to have their Remote Controlled sports cars drifted to the race track like the pros. It’s a superb driving expertise they got to have that small fellas ran and followed the track very well while performing some drift.
Overall, the car show was a very successful event. Many thanks to Bumper to Bumper and REPSOL for making Metro Rides 2 a great car event and for letting Cebuanos experience such a great car show.

The said event showcase Cebuano’s creativity and their capability in terms of pimping their rides. Also showing to everybody that Cebuano’s are not far behind in this field. Showcasing stunning luxury and amazingly modified sports car at its best. That’s something Cebuano’s can be proud of, we are eligible to compete and we are capable of doing so.
